After a thorough and extensive search led by our Marketing Department, Byrider is excited to announce the selection of a new website vendor to support the continued growth and digital success of our franchise network.
As part of our comprehensive evaluation, we invited nine vendors to participate in a formal Request for Proposal (RFP). Of those, seven submitted complete proposals for review.
To ensure we considered diverse perspectives across the organization, we assembled a cross-functional team to participate in the selection process. This team included:
John Chalfant & Ben Goodman – Franchise Owners
Mike Onda – CEO
John Krupnik – CIO
Shankar – Web Experience Manager
Kelly Phillips – Marketing
The RFP process was organized into four key phases:
Initial Submission – Review of vendor documentation and proposals
Product Demos – Live demonstrations of platform capabilities
Q&A and Fee Discussions – Clarifying features, pricing, and support
Timeline & Contract Review – Final negotiations and planning
After careful evaluation and team voting, we presented the top candidate to the marketing committee for final input. Based on their feedback and a clear consensus, we have officially partnered with Dealer eProcess (DEP) to develop and launch 102 new websites for the Byrider Franchise network.

Why Dealer eProcess?
Dealer eProcess brings a robust set of tools and capabilities tailored specifically to the automotive industry. Key advantages include:
Optimized Website Structure: Built with Google search best practices in mind, DEP’s platform is designed to improve SEO performance, helping each franchise site rank more effectively in search results.
Comprehensive Dashboard: Franchisees will have access to real-time website analytics, lead tracking, and performance insights, empowering better decision-making.
Add-On Product Options: DEP also offers several optional enhancements that franchise locations can adopt as needed. We’ve negotiated favorable terms for these additional features, providing flexibility and value.
What’s Next?
While the groundwork has been laid, we recognize there is still a lot of work ahead. Over the coming weeks and months, we’ll be scheduling platform demos, hosting training sessions, and sharing regular updates as we move through the implementation process.
We’re excited about this next chapter and confident that our partnership with Dealer eProcess will provide a strong foundation for our continued digital growth.
